As part of the economic development programme, an extensive package of support services is available, including:

University Centre Hastings – providing skills and education for the local workforce and professional training for business people and their staff. For example, UCH's Broadcast Media Centre is teaching the latest industry skills to local people as well as providing commercial media facilities.
The Enterprise Hub – providing free mentoring, training and advice for high-growth firms, plus networking and training for companies in the creative, manufacturing and technology sectors. The Hub helps companies in Hastings, Bexhill and in Eastbourne.
eCommerce information and advice – free, impartial advice to help you get ahead in the world of ecommerce.
Product Development Centre – based at the Innovation Centre, focusing on design and rapid prototyping in mechanical and electrical engineering. With a 15 seat computer design suite and a rapid prototyping machine, the Centre offers training and a commercial facility.
Ten Sixty Six Enterprise – the Chamber of Commerce for the Hastings and St Leonards area. Providing business support, training and advice to start-ups and established businesses.
Town Centre Management – the Town Centre Improvement Programme provides grants and other support to help new businesses get established and existing businesses grow and adapt to changing markets. The Business Crime Reduction Partnership provides tools and training to help retailers and publicans reduce their vulnerability to crime and improve safety for customers and staff.
Business Link – providing support for local businesses as part of the national Business Link scheme with a local advisor based in Hastings.
ProfitNet – a free 'learning networks' scheme to help firms increase profitability and productivity and increase competitive advantage.
Hastings College of Art & Technology's Centre of Vocational Excellence – providing specialist training and education for firms in retail and computing.
Locate East Sussex – helping firms find suitable premises.
