Most of us know about Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and LinkedIn and many of us will use them either for business or for personal use. But is your business getting the best out of these important social media tools?

The University Centre, Hastings are running another of their industry short courses on social media marketing - the last course was a sell out and the next course is expected to be equally as popular.

The course comprises two three hour sessions delivered over a two week period. These sessions are practical based, taking place in a computer suite so that you can practice the subjects with the assistance of the course leader as they are discussed. A list of online resources and reading will be provided and an exercise will be set each week.

The core focus throughout will be Facebook and Twitter, but tools such as LinkedIn, YouTube, blogs, podcasts, wikis, Flickr, Foursquare and others will also be touched upon. Case studies and best practice examples will be shared.
